Innomedica was established in 1997, at the time when the global life science business was on the rise. In the beginning Innomedica focused on Business Development and Licensing. The licensing of Finnish projects to Japan became a strong area for the company. This has lead to a number of significant deals in Japan for our European clients.
In 2002 Innomedica added Project Management to it’s service portfolio through a merger with the Helsinki based company BioSolutions INT. Today Project management for Tekes (The Finnish Funding Agency for Technology and Innovation) as well as management of EU projects in FP6 and FP7 has become one of our main activities. In FP7 Innomedica is taking a strong role in supporting consortia based in Finland, especially those with SME and industrial partners.
