Innomedica’s Tanja Dowe will moderate the Super Session “Unmet medical needs in women – treatments around the corner” at the Nordic Life Science Days in Stockholm on September 14-15, 2016 The session is co-hosted by Bayer and Innomedica.
Medical conditions only affecting women, including endometriosis, pregnancy complications and premenstrual dysphoric disorder represent high unmet medical needs. In the absence of treatments targeting the causes of the condition, available alternatives have so far been limited to alleviating symptoms. However, there are currently several companies in the Nordics with potential treatments for these conditions being tested, some in advanced clinical stages. The session will focus on providing an overview of the area, showcase a few companies from the Nordics with ongoing developments and discuss the challenges and potential in coming years.
